- Tap Spend Account on the main dashboard or Tap the (+) icon and select Move Money
- Select your payee if you already transferred money to them before
- You can choose to transfer funds using an Account number/Card number or with an Email
- Click Save & Move Money to complete your transaction
- If the beneficiary Timo member is near you, simply Scan their QR code, add them as a Payee and move money immediately.

Here are the ways you can add funds to your account

Online Money Transfer
Make an online transfer from another bank account by using your account number for regular transfers or your Timo Debit card number for 24/7 fast transfers.
1. Moving money:
- To Timo members: Moving money between Timo members is fast & easy.
- Interbank transfer: Just a few steps, your money will be moved away in a wink.
- Tap Spend Account on the main dashboard or Tap the (+) icon and select Move Money
- Choose your payee if you already transferred money to them before
- Enter the bank name, account number and account owner name
- Click Save & Move Money to complete your transaction.

2. Making payments:
- Payment request: Splitting bills with your friends is easily done in a few taps.
- Tap the (+) icon & Choose Payment Request
- Select the (+) icon to Create a new request or choose Outstanding payment requests
- Send a reminder to collect your payment.
- Bill pay: Stay on top of your bills.
- Tap on the (+) icon & choose Bill Pay
- Select the (+) icon at the bottom right corner to add a new bill
- Or fetch an existing bill and pay as needed.
- Phone Top-up: Enjoy calling without worrying about phone credit.
- Tap the (+) icon & Choose Phone Top-up
- Enter the amount you want and press the Top-up button
- Choose Add number or Import number to top-up phone credit for someone else.

3. Smart features:
- My Bank details: Your bank account details are shown right in your Timo app.
- Tap your Avatar (Profile setting) then click to see your bank details
- Share this bank information with your friends if they want to move money to you
- If your friends are also Timo members, everything becomes easier with your QR code.
- Splitting your savings accounts: Saves you from losing interest when you redeem them early.
- Open your Term Deposit account by tapping Term Deposit on the main dashboard
- Follow the guideline on-screen to complete the steps
- To use this smart feature, at the Review & Open TD screen, you can choose to Open 4 TDs
- Each Term Deposit can be split into 4 smaller Term Deposits, so even if you withdraw 1, you continue to earn interest on the remaining 3.
- Auto renewal: To continue to grow your money, choose the Rollover TD option in the App.
- The Rollover option will auto-renew your Term Deposit along with interest earned automatically at the end of the term
- After choosing open Term Deposit account(s), you will be led to the Set to TD Rollover screen
- At this step, you can select all your Term Deposits to Rollover or select as much as you want to Rollover
- In case you opened Fixed-term deposits, you can still convert them from Fixed term to Rollover at any time.


1. Multi-layered security:
The First layer is logging into the Timo app.
– Login with your username & password
– Login with Biometrics such as Face ID/Touch ID
– 4 digit Quick code to re-login if you have not logged out of the app within 24h
The Second layer is the iOTP*/OTP used to authorise any money transfer transaction made in the Timo app. Timo will send a code to your registered mobile number or directly in the Timo app.
*iOTP (instant OTP) works just like SMS OTP, only the 4-digit secure code is generated right in the Timo app.
iOTP will help:
– Approve transactions quicker
– Make transfers while overseas
– Use it on as many trusted devices as you want

2. Tips to safeguard your account:
– REGULARLY CHANGE your password/PIN/Quick code. Make your password unique and hard to guess by adding in symbols (!@#$) and numbers
– NEVER use the same username and password on different websites, especially for banking
– NEVER SHARE your password/PIN/Quick code/OTP with anyone! Neither Timo nor Viet Capital Bank WOULD EVER ask for such information
– ALWAYS access Timo via the App or the web app www.my.timo.vn into your web browser, NEVER by clicking on a hyperlink
– DO NOT CLICK OR FORWARD links in emails, SMS or chat/WhatsApp messages if you doubt the authenticity of such links
– DO NOT SHARE your confidential personal and banking details with any third party via phone, messaging apps or email
– NEVER SHARE or post a picture of your card number in public
– LOCK YOUR CARD right in the Timo App (Manage Cards section) in case of loss or if you suspect any suspicious activity

1. Request documents (service request via web app):
Instead of queueing at physical branches, you can request for financial verification documents online and get your documents delivered at home.
3 types of documents you can register for online:
– Account Balance Confirmation with Stamp
– Account Statement with Stamp
– Remittance Confirmation with Stamp
Notice: Document requests can only be done via the Timo Web application, we do not offer this service on mobile application currently.
How to request these documents:
- Login the Timo web app at https://www.my.timo.vn with your username and password
- Select Request Documents
- Choose the type of document which you need then click Request
- Follow the on-screen instructions and enter the necessary information for each type of document
- Click Confirm and Pay to complete your request
Notice:
– Your request will be processed within 2-3 working days (4-5 days for delivery);
– These transactions will be charged due to Viet Capital Bank’s regulation.

2. Reset PIN (service request via web app & mobile app):
When you need to withdraw money but forgot your PIN?
No worries, you can quickly reset your PIN in 4 simple steps on the Web or in the App:
- Select Manage Cards then Choose Reset Pin
- Enter your login password to verify your account
- Enter your new PIN code (4 digits)
- Enter the OTP code sent to your phone to verify your new PIN
You can now continue withdrawing or depositing money as usual.

3. Request a new card (service request via web app & mobile app):
Lost your card or your card can’t be used anymore?
Just select Manage Cards in your Timo app, click to Request a new card and visit our Timo Hangout to receive your new card.
When you request a new card, your current card will be temporarily locked and you will be charged 50,000 VND (VAT not included) from your Spend account as a card reissuance fee.
