Register your information on Timo Plus
Thank you for choosing to continue on as a Timo customer on the new Timo Plus app. Here’s everything you need to know regarding making the Timo Plus account seamlessly.
What information will be updated?
We will update your personal information registered with us to Timo Plus.
Start right in the Timo App
On the Home Screen of the Timo App, you will see a notification button appear. This will guide you through the process.
Note: ensure you have the latest version of the Timo App.
Here are the 4 key steps you will go through, in a matter of minutes.
Step 01: download Timo Plus
- Click the button in the Timo App.
- You will be prompted to download the Timo Plus app if you have not installed it yet.
Step 02: verify your phone number
- In the Timo Plus app, hit 'Join now'.
- Enter your phone number.
The phone number(*) should be the one registered to your Timo account.
Step 03: confirm your registration
- You will be be prompted to go back to the Timo app and confirm your registration
- Once confirmed, we will share your current personal information held at Timo to Viet Capital Bank. This information will be used to create your new Timo Plus bank account where you can continue banking as usual.
Step 04: create a new account
- Last step is to go back to the Timo Plus app to create your username and password.
- You can choose to use the same credentials as you had with Timo or create a whole new set.
Congratulations, your account is ready!
Once your Pre KYC digital account has been created you can start using your account immediately while your Debit card arrives later:
- Make a fund transfer, top-up or pay bills pay up to 100,000,000 VND limit monthly from your Pre KYC account
- Enjoy fee free transfers within Viet Capital Bank accounts and non Viet Capital Bank accounts alike

* Please use the phone number registered with Timo to ensure you successfully update your information to Timo Plus.
** If you have already joined Timo Plus prior to implementation of the functionality, we will update you separately on how to update your account information like payee list, bill pay list etc.
