Timo Spend Account is your main account, for daily use. Your debit card is issued with this account. With this account you can:

- Receive foreign currency transfers from abroad
- Cashflow by Category
Am I charged any fees by using Timo?
Your Timo account is completely free of fees such as annual fee, account maintenance fee, transaction fee for transferring money from the application and withdrawal transaction fee at ATM. You can refer to the detailed information more at:
What account packages does Timo have?
Currently, Timo offers the following account package for foreigners:
- Full Timo account package: For customers who have completed issuing Timo Debit cards at Timo Hangout, money transfer limit is up to 1 billion VND/day, and you can use full product services such as withdrawal transactions, online payment via card, linking e-wallets,…
In case you need to transfer up to 5 billion VND/day, please kindky contact the Timo Care 1800 6788 (toll-free) for support.
I want to transfer with an amount more than 5 billion VND/day?
Please kindly bring your original passport and Visa/TRC (valid, clear information) directly to Viet Capital Bank for transfer support at the counter.
I want to withdraw cash from Timo account in large amount?

Can I cancel Auto-deposit setting at any time?
Certainly! You can cancel the Auto-deposit setting at any time through the TD list screen.
1. For Principal rollover TD, the original amount will continue to be invested after maturity, while the interest will be transferred to the Spend Account.
2. For Total rollover TD, both the original amount and the interest will be automatically rolled over into a new TD with the same term but at the current interest rate.
3. For Non-rollover TD, the original amount and the interest are not automatically rolled over but transferred to the Spend Account.
Can I enable Auto-deposit setting for multiple TDs?
Definitely! You can apply this setting to many different TDs, ensuring flexibility in managing your personal finances.
What notification will I receive after the Auto-deposit is made?
Every time the system automatically executes a deposit order, you will be notified via the Timo app, making tracking your savings growth easier.
If the Auto-deposit order fails, you will receive a notification with the reason and the system will execute the deposit order in the next cycle.
How to activate Auto-deposit setting?
Step 1: Log in to the Timo app.
Step 2: Open a Term Deposit.
Step 3: Select the Auto-deposit setting so that the system automatically creates a deposit order with the created TD information.
Step 4: Confirm.
The system will automatically execute monthly deposit orders according to the amount and term you have set. The interest rate will be based on the deposit date each month.
Why should you use the Auto-deposit setting?
This setting is a powerful tool that helps you cultivate smart & effortless savings habits. By automatically creating a monthly Term Deposit from your Spend Account, you can build a passive income stream over time without having to do this manually.

What is a Money Pot?
A Money Pot is a way for you to actively manage your spending. After creating the Money Pot, you can set up the time and the amount to be accumulated into the pot by day/week/month.
Can Timo be linked with E-wallets?
Currently, Timo can be linked with e-wallets such as MoMo, ShopeePay, ZaloPay,…
You can link your Timo card with e-wallets by following these steps:
- Choose the form of linking account number/card number.
- Select Viet Capital Bank (select Timo bank if you link the account in MoMo app).
- Enter the card number, cardholder name, ID card/Passport,… as required by the e-wallet (this information needs to match with the information issued on your Timo card)
To ensure account safety, please note that you do not provide security information such as transaction authentication OTP codes, login information and payment passwords of e-wallets, etc.
The E-wallet deposit failed but the account is still deducted?
In this case, please contact 1800 6788 or send information to email care@timo.vn for further support.
Please note that: You should always be wary of people claiming to be bank employees and asking you for your card number, login information and OTP code.
What is a Payment Request?
Payment Request is a smart feature that allows customers to manage payments better. These amounts are divided into “Outstanding” (payment hasn’t been completed) and “Completed” (payment has been completed). The Payment Request is an exclusive feature among Timo members, only sent to Timo users.
What is Split Bill?
Split Bill helps you settle shared payments with friends and improves your ability to manage your personal spending. You can use it for both Timo and non-Timo users through the phone number saved in the phonebook.
