SOME TIPS AND SUGGESTIONS TO ACCESS YOUR FUNDS

– You can visit any local banks ATM to withdraw funds as you require without any fees. You can also access the Timo ATM located outside the Timo Hangout (HCM branch) as usual.

– If you want to deposit cash into your account we recommend you do this on or before the 08.11.2019 either via a CDM machine or through a bank transfer.

– We recommend that you deposit money into your account before the end of 08.11.2019 (before 12:00 noon through a bank transfer or before 18:00 via a CDM machines).

How to find CDMs around you? Choose CDM/ATM locator on the Menu bar from the Timo app.

– If you suspect that your card data may have been compromised or stolen, you can lock your card(s) immediately with the Quick Actions tray or via the Manage Cards section in the Timo app. Don’t forget to notify Timo immediately for prompt support.

– The campaign is only applicable to current Timo customers, who either own a Timo Debit Card or Timo MasterCard

– Vietnamese citizens or Expatriates living and working legally in Vietnam over the age of 18

– Lifestyle Project Management Vietnam employees, Lifestyle Project Management Vietnam partners and associates are not eligible for this program.

4. Terms & Conditions for rewards: 

Invite Friends: a function which allows Timo members to share their unique link with their personal referral code to invite friends to join Timo. The invitee needs to access the correct personal referral link to complete the online registration and collect a Timo Debit Card at a Timo Hangout. Through this function, Timo determines the number of successful invitations per member during the program.

Successful invitation: when the invitee clicks your unique link (link containing your referral code, for example, https://timo.vn?referredBy=XY123), picks up their Timo Debit card no later than 30 November 2019 (within the operating hours at each Timo Hangout) and makes at least 02 qualified transactions by 07 December 2019.

4.1 How to participate?

During the promotional period, existing Timo customers can invite other individuals to open Timo bank accounts. When the Timo customer sends 02 (two) invitations and the Invitees open their Timo accounts successfully by 30 November 2019 and make at least 02 transactions no later than 07 December 2019, both the Inviter and the Invitees will receive Timo gifts under this Policy as long as a Inviter successfully invites at least 02 (two) friends.

For Inviters:

Option 1: A Timo customer performs the following steps:

+ Step 1: Sign in to your Timo account at https://my.timo.vn or through the Timo Application (iOS or Android version);

+ Step 2: Click on the Menu icon on the top left corner of the screen or under the “Lifestyle” section of the App, select Invite friends and choose the “Send via email” button, enter the e-mail address of the person to be invited to open Timo account. Click “Submit”.

Option 2:

+ Step 1: Sign in to your Timo account at https://my.timo.vn or Timo Application (iOS or Android version);

Step 2: Click on the Menu icon on the left corner of the screen or under the “Lifestyle” section of the App, select Invite friends and choose the “Send via others” button.

+ Step 3: Send out the link with your referral code for invitee to open a Timo account.

Note:

Unlimited number of referrals is possible;
01 invitation that successfully opens 01 Timo account is considered as 01 referral.
A minimum of 02 (two) successful referrals who opens a Timo account during the promotion period will be entitled to receive gifts.

For Invitees:

+ Step 1: Click on the link sent by the Inviter.

+ Step 2: Provide your full personal information (Full name on ID card, email address, mobile phone number, date of birth, ID card number, place of receiving card)

+ Step 3: Book an appointment online or await a call from Timo Care to schedule an appointment to come to a Timo Hangout to finish the account opening process.

+ Step 4: Check Email from Timo to validate Email Address, create login name and password for Timo account.

+ Step 5: Go to the nearest Timo Hangout to complete the account opening procedure and get the Timo Debit card. The deadline for invitees to open an account and receive Timo card is 30 November 2019 (as per Timo Hangout opening hours in each province).

+ Step 6: Use Timo to make at least 02 transactions (bill pay, phone top up, POS swipe, online payment) no later than 07 December 2019.

+ Step 7: An email confirmation from Timo regarding qualification will be received as per campaign regulations below. Successful invitees can login to their Timo account via the website https://my.timo.vn/, select the Privilege section and claim their gift voucher code.

4.2 Rewards:

Inviters

(i) Eligibility:

– Customers are members of Timo with active Timo accounts.

– Customers have at least 02 (two) successful invitation within the promotion duration.

(ii) Reward value:

100,000 VND for the first 02 successful invitations.

– After the first 02 successful invitations, customers will continue to get 50.000 VND for each following successful invitation.

– There is no limit to the number of rewards.

(iii) Receiving the rewards:

– Reward disbursement time: Timo will directly transfer the reward value to the Timo Spend Account of the participating Inviter who has met all the terms & conditions of the promotion within 30 (thirty) days from 30 November 2019.

(iv) Resolving reward claims:

– Complaints should be sent directly to care@timo.vn with details / proof of claim (invitations to friends, related images) from the relevant email registered with Timo.

– All complaints must be received within 10 working days from the date of receipt of the announcement email. Complaints sent to the Organizing Committee after the above time will not be resolved.

– Complaints shall be settled within at least 7 working days.

Invitees

(i) Eligibility:

– New customers who are not members of Timo, have been invited by Timo customers through the link containing the referral code and have successfully received a Timo Debit card during the promotion period.

– Customers will get a 75.000 VND e-voucher from Timo if they make at least 02 transaction by 07 December 2019. Qualified transactions include:

(ii) Reward:

– Qualified customers can redeem the following reward: 75.000 VND e-voucher.

– Customers can find instructions, applicable brands and locations (with detailed addresses) and the specific expiry dates on the contents of the digital voucher.

(iii) Receiving the voucher:

– Voucher disbursement time: Timo will send an announcement email to qualified customers immediately after they make 02 (two) qualified transactions. Customers can access the link to gift voucher code at the Privileges section once they login to the Timo Web App my.timo.vn

– How to claim voucher code: Customers need to login to their Timo account from the website my.timo.vn, visit the Privileges section, and click on the button to claim the gift voucher code. The e-voucher list can be amended without any prior notice.

– The voucher link will continue to be available in the Privileges section of my.timo.vn website till 14 December 2019. After this date, the voucher link will no longer be accessible and the customer will no longer be able to claim the voucher.

Timo employees are entitled to request the Customer to sign and provide information to confirm receipt of the gift if required.

(iv) Resolving complaints:

– Complaints or issues related to receiving or accessing link to vouchers from my.timo.vn can be sent directly to care@timo.vn from the relevant email registered with Timo.

– For complaints arising from the usage of e-vouchers, complaints shall be sent directly to Timo’s gift providers as follows: Shopee: hotline 19001221 – support@shopee.vn

– All complaints must be received within 10 working days from the date of receipt of the announcement email. Complaints sent to the Organizing Committee after the above time will not be resolved.

– Complaints shall be settled within at least 7 working days.

4.3 Other notes about Voucher rewards:

– Voucher codes are selected randomly from Timo’s system.

– Voucher codes are valid to claim and use until the end of 14 December 2019.

– Electronic Gift Voucher Code / Gift / Gift Certificate cannot be converted to cash.

– Each customer will only be entitled to 01 Electronic Gift Voucher converted into 01 Gift (selected by Customer) and is not required to change the Gift after receiving the Gift Code.

4.4 Gifts shall not be granted in the following cases:

– The number of successful invitations is less than the requirement of the promotion.

– In case the customer refuses the reward, the rewards will be canceled.

– In case the customer opens a Timo account but do not complete the required steps to qualify during the promotion period.

– Customers do not coordinate, work and comply with the procedures and process of giving rewards in accordance with the regulations of the Organizing Committee.

– Customers made successful invitations after the promotion period.

– In case customers misrepresent/miscommunicate the promotion in order to manipulate others to open Timo accounts and this behavior is caught/reported by the participants or the Organizing Committee.

– Customers take advantage of the promotion to ask other Timo cardholders to disclose Timo cardholders’ confidential information such as: card number, PIN, passwords, security code, card expiry date or OTP/iOTP, etc. In this case, successful invitations from this customer will be disqualified and will not be eligible to be rewarded. All rewards that customers received from previous successful invitations (if any) will be revoked and customers must repay such rewards to Timo within 15 (fifteen) days from the date of Timo’s request.

– Customers who violated Terms and Conditions of other promotions of Timo, stated that Timo will not accept referrals from such customers from the time stated in Timo’s notice, are not eligible.

– In case customers open Timo accounts from other links instead of the specific link provided for this promotion.

5. Other regulations

– This promotion program can be applied in occurrence with other promotion programs from Timo.

– By participating in this promotion program, customers are bound to accept all Terms and Conditions of the program, all the amendments (if any) and all the Terms and Conditions of the Timo ATM Debit card and Timo Spend Account.

– By participating in this promotion program, customers are bound to accept that Timo has the right to use any image, information or document that is related to reward receivers for communication and marketing purposes of Timo, without having to pay the reward receivers any extra fee.

– Reward receivers are bound to receive their reward at the location instructed by Timo. The following fees are not included in the reward and will not be paid by Timo: transportation fee, accommodation fee, registration fee, transfer fee and other related fees or taxes.

– Participants are responsible for paying Personal Income Tax and other fees if incurred later. Participants are bound to follow the rules and regulations, any procedure required to receive the reward from Timo.

– Timo is fully responsible for managing the printing process, the accuracy of the proof of reward redemption and circulating the proof of reward redemption in the promotion. In cases the proof of reward redemption issued by Timo caused a misunderstanding to the customers, Timo is still responsible for providing the reward in accordance with the regulations. The promotion must be fair and transparent.

– The decision of the Organizing Committee for the reward to new customers or any fraudulent activity uncovered is final.

– The promotion rules may change to suit participants. Nevertheless, the timeline & rewards will not be changed or reduced from those rules previously announced. Any amendments which shall occur will be informed publicly on Timo’s social channels/ website and directly through emails.

– The decision of the Organizing Committee for the reward to new customers or any fraudulent activity uncovered is final.

– The promotion rules may change to suit participants. Nevertheless, the timeline & rewards will not be changed or reduced from those rules previously announced. Any amendments which shall occur will be informed publicly on Timo’s social channels/ website and directly through emails.

This promotion program may end sooner than expected of this paragraph 1 and will be notified on Timo’s website. In case of early termination, all terms and conditions attached to the promotion program will automatically be terminated according to the program period.  

– Timo is not responsible if there are any cases of force majeure which occur at the time of the promotion program which result in inaccuracy for any transactions.

– For cases where the organizers have uncovered fraudulent behavior conducted by the promotion participants or have engaged in illegal profiteering or affected Timo’s reputation, the Organizing Committee will disqualify the participant from receiving the reward without notice. 4.1 How to participate?

During the promotional period, existing Timo customers can invite other individuals to open Timo bank accounts. 4.2 Rewards:

4.3 Other notes about Voucher rewards:

– Voucher codes are selected randomly from Timo’s system.

– Voucher codes are valid to claim and use until the end of 11 November 2019.

– Electronic Gift Voucher Code / Gift / Gift Certificate cannot be converted to cash.

– Each customer will only be entitled to 01 Electronic Gift Voucher converted into 01 Gift (selected by Customer) and is not required to change the Gift after receiving the Gift Code.

4.4 Gifts shall not be granted in the following cases:

– The number of successful invitations is less than the requirement of the promotion.

– In case the customer refuses the reward, the rewards will be canceled.

– In case the customer opens a Timo account but do not complete the required steps to qualify during the promotion period.

– Customers do not coordinate, work and comply with the procedures and process of giving rewards in accordance with the regulations of the Organizing Committee.

– Customers made successful invitations after the promotion period.

– In case customers misrepresent/miscommunicate the promotion in order to manipulate others to open Timo accounts and this behavior is caught/reported by the participants or the Organizing Committee.

– Customers take advantage of the promotion to ask other Timo cardholders to disclose Timo cardholders’ confidential information such as: card number, PIN, passwords, security code, card expiry date or OTP/iOTP, etc. In this case, successful invitations from this customer will be disqualified and will not be eligible to be rewarded. 5. Other regulations

(iv) Resolving complaints: 

– For complaints related to the delivery of e-vouchers, complaints shall be sent from the customer’s registered email address to care@timo.vn with all related information and images.
– For complaints arising from the usage of e-vouchers, complaints shall be sent directly to Timo’s gift providers as follows:

– Complaints need to be sent within 10 working days after the date that the customer receives the email confirmation regarding the e-voucher from Timo. Any complaint sent after this period of time will not be resolved.

– Voucher codes are selected randomly from Timo’s system.
– Voucher codes are valid to claim and use until the end of 7 October 2019.
– Electronic Gift Voucher Code / Gift / Gift Certificate cannot be converted to cash.
– Each customer will only be entitled to 01 Electronic Gift Voucher converted into 01 Gift (selected by Customer) and is not required to change the Gift after receiving the Gift Code.

(vi) Gifts shall not be granted in the following cases:

Successful invitation: when the invitee clicks your unique link (link containing your referral code, for example, https://timo.vn?referredBy=XY123), picks up their Timo Debit card no later than 30 September 2019 (within the operating hours at each Timo Hangout) and makes at least 02 qualified transactions by 5 October 2019.

4.1 How to participate?

During the promotional period, existing Timo customers can invite other individuals to open Timo bank accounts. When the Timo customer sends 02 (two) invitations and the Invitees open their Timo accounts successfully by 30 September 2019 and make at least 02 transactions no later than 5 October 2019, both the Inviter and the Invitees will receive Timo gifts under this Policy as long as a Inviter successfully invites at least 02 (two) friends.

4.2 Rewards:

(i) Eligibility:

– All complaints must be received within 10 working days from the date of receipt of the announcement email. Complaints sent to the Organizing Committee after the above time will not be resolved.

– The number of successful invitations is less than the requirement of the promotion.

– Customers do not coordinate, work and comply with the procedures and process of giving rewards in accordance with the regulations of the Organizing Committee.

– Customers made successful invitations after the promotion period.

HERE ARE FEW NOTICES FOR BOTH SENDER AND RECEIVER BEFORE SENDING/ RECEIVING MONEY FROM OVERSEA

For Receiver (Timo Member)

Step 1: Make sure you fill out the Foreign Currency Purchase Order, Certificate and Commitment of Timo Member form. You can get this from any Timo Hangout.

When joining Timo, simply ask a Timo Care Representative to present you with the form or inform our staff of your expected incoming funds from overseas in the future.  Fill out the form, sign and submit it to our staff at a Timo Hangout. 

Step 2: Share your bank details with the sender. This feature can be found in the menu section of the Timo App and should look like this.

Your sender should pay special attention to your Account Number, Account Name or Beneficiary Name and the SWIFT code when making the transfer.

Your name and your account number must be correct and match with your information registered at Timo. 

Step 3: Ask the Sender to Include a clear and concise description / purpose of sending the funds. In Vietnam this is an important process of clearing an incoming remittance so attention should be paid to include a description as clear as possible.

EG: Personal services, living expenses, daily expenses, payment for XYZ, should be typed into the description field.

Besides, If you are a foreigner, make sure your passport, visa and residency document still holds validity before receiving the funds. In the case of expiration, Please visit a Timo Hangout at your earliest convenience to update them with us.

 Step 4: Hang tight and wait for the funds to hit your Timo account

For Sender ( People who send funds to a receiver at Timo)

Make sure the payment details include the correct information like Receiver / Beneficiary account number, Full Name, Bank Name, and SWIFT code.

Make sure the payment has a description or purpose of sending the funds.

EG: Personal services, living expenses, daily expenses, payment for XYZ, should be typed into the description field.  

PROBLEMS ONE CAN ENCOUNTER AND HOW TO REMEDY THEM

The regulation in Vietnam is quite strict and without sufficient knowledge, the incoming transfer from overseas could be put on hold for a number of reasons.

These could include 

  1. The Timo recipient has not signed the Foreign Currency Purchase Order, Certificate and Commitment Form
  2. The sending purpose / description is not clear
  3. The transfer is related to investments
  4. The sender’s address is in Vietnam
  5. The Timo recipient’s Visa/ Resident card has expired
  6. The sending description contains the text “REFUND or REIMBURSEMENT”
  7. It relates to Stock transfers
  8. The beneficiary name is incorrect
  9. The beneficiary account number is incorrect

HERE ARE SOME TIPS TO MAKE SURE YOU RECEIVE YOUR OVERSEAS FUNDS ON TIME

  • Make sure you have signed the form
  • Your sender needs to make sure the Beneficiary name, Account Number, Swift Code (if applicable) is correctly typed
  • The description for sending the funds must be included and should be clear
  • Eg: personal expenses, living expenses, daily expenses, payment for XYZ
  • If there is any description related to “Refund”, “Reimbursement”, “Investments”, ”Stocks”, “Bonds”, “Mutual Funds”, “Loan”, etc, you will be asked for additional documents to process the transfer.

– The campaign is only applicable to current Timo customers, who either own a Timo Debit Card or Timo Mastercard

4. Terms & Conditions for rewards: 

i) E-voucher eligibility:

Current customers who meet one of the following qualification criteria will receive one of the following rewards:

– Customers will get one 2D CGV ticket valued 100.000 VND if they successfully purchase a Smart Package valued 300.000 VND from personal accident insurance provided by Sun Life via the Timo app by 12 October 2019, OR

– Customers will get two 2D CGV tickets valued 100.000 VND/ticket if they successfully purchase a Pro Package valued 450.000 VND from personal accident insurance provided by Sun Life via the Timo app by 12 October 2019

(ii) Rewards:

– Qualified customers can receive 2D CGV ticket(s) from Sun Life.

– Customers can check the e-voucher’s details, instructions, applicable locations (with detailed address) and specific expiration date on the digital voucher once received.

(iii) How to participate?

During the promotional period, existing Timo customers purchase one of the above packages from personal accident insurance provided by Sun Life via the Timo app to participate on this promotion. 250 2D CGV tickets are available for the first customers who buy Smart Packages or Pro Packages of Sun Life personal accident insurance via the Timo app.

(iv) How will you get the e-voucher?

– Announcement procedure: Timo will send an email confirmation to the registered email address immediately after the qualified Sun Life personal accident insurance package is successfully purchased from the customer’s Spend Account. Customers can access their e-ticket on the Reward section via my.timo.vn.

– To get the e-ticket, customers need to sign in to their Timo account via my.timo.vn, access the Reward section and click on “Get your voucher now”.

v) How to use the e-voucher?

– Customers can redeem their CGV e-tickets on CGV website, CGV Cinemas app or visit the CVG movie theater to redeem.

– E-tickets can also be used on weekends and holidays.

– E-tickets does not apply to Sweetbox tickets.

Instructions for redeeming the e-tickets online:

Step 1: Login with your CGV account on the website or via the CGV Cinemas app.

Step 2: Make your payment in the “Discount” section, select “CGV Voucher” and enter eGift Code & PIN code. The system will automatically subtract the corresponding number of tickets.
Note: Please pay the difference amount (if any) after the eGift Code has been redeemed. Customers can pay the difference amount online on the website or via the CGV Cinemas app or directly at the ticket counter.

Step 3: Receive the tickets at CGV theater.

Instructions for redeeming the e-tickets at the theater:

Use the eGift code at the ticket counter with movie options, screenings, position and number of seats (differential payment if available).

vi) Resolving complaints: 

– For complaints related to the delivery of e-vouchers, complaints shall be sent from the customer’s registered email address to care@timo.vn with all related information and images.

– For complaints arising from the usage of e-vouchers, complaints shall be sent directly to Timo’s gift providers as follows:

– Complaints need to be sent within 10 working days after the date that the customer receives the email confirmation regarding the e-voucher from Timo. Any complaint sent after this period of time will not be resolved.

– Complaints will be resolved within 7 working dates.

vii) Other notes about Voucher rewards:

– CGV tickets from Sun Life are available to be claimed and used until the end of 31 October 2019.

– E-vouchers offered under this promotion are non-exchangeable for cash. For each e-voucher type, each customer will receive one or two e-voucher(s) (depending on the purchased personal accident insurance package) and will not be able to exchange for other(s).

viii) Rewards will not given in these below cases:

– In case the customer refuses the reward, the rewards will be canceled.

– In case customers open a Timo account but do not complete the required steps to qualify during the promotion period.

– Customers do not coordinate, work and comply with the procedures and process of giving rewards in accordance with the regulations of the Organizing Committee.

– Due to the limited rewards, rewards are given to first-come-first-served customers. If the Organizing Committee is out of rewards, the following customers will not receive these gifts from Timo and Sun Life. There is a specific number of limited rewards as shown below:
1. 250 2D CGV tickets are available for the first customers who buy Smart Packages or Pro Packages of Sun Life personal accident insurance via the Timo app by 12 October 2019.
2. The above rewards are only applicable for 01 insurance policy purchased by 01 customer during the promotion period.

– The program may end sooner than expected.

– In case customers misrepresent/mis-communicate about the promotion in order to manipulate others to open Timo accounts and this behavior is caught/reported by the participants or the Organizing Committee.

5. Other regulations

– This promotion program can be applied in occurrence with other promotion programs from Timo.

– By participating in this promotion program, customers are bound to accept all Terms and Conditions of the program, all the amendments (if any) and all the Terms and Conditions of the Timo ATM Debit card and Timo Spend Account.

– By participating in this promotion program, customers are bound to accept that Timo has the right to use any image, information or document that is related to reward receivers for communication and marketing purposes of Timo, without having to pay the reward receivers any extra fee.

– Reward receivers are bound to receive their reward at the location instructed by Timo. The following fees are not included in the reward and will not be paid by Timo: transportation fee, accommodation fee, registration fee, transfer fee and other related fees or taxes.

– Participants are responsible for paying Personal Income Tax and other fees if incurred later. Participants are bound to follow the rules and regulations, any procedure required to receive the reward from Timo.

– Timo is fully responsible for managing the printing process, the accuracy of the proof of reward redemption and circulating the proof of reward redemption in the promotion. In cases the proof of reward redemption issued by Timo caused a misunderstanding to the customers, Timo is still responsible for providing the reward in accordance with the regulations. The promotion must be fair and transparent.

– The decision of the Organizing Committee for the reward to new customers or any fraudulent activity uncovered is final.

– The promotion rules may change to suit participants. Nevertheless, the timeline & rewards will not be changed or reduced from those rules previously announced. Any amendments which shall occur will be informed publicly on Timo’s social channels/ website and directly through emails.

– By participating in this program, Customer accepts all of the Terms and Conditions listed in this Policy and any changes to this program (if applicable), as well as all as defined in the Terms and Conditions of Timo membership agreement.

– Timo is not responsible if there are any cases of force majeure which occur at the time of the promotion program which result in inaccuracy for any transactions.

– For cases where the organizers have uncovered fraudulent behavior conducted by the promotion participants or have engaged in illegal profiteering or affected Timo’s reputation, the Organizing Committee will disqualify the participant from receiving the reward without notice.

– E-vouchers offered under this promotion are non-exchangeable for cash. For each e-voucher type, each customer will receive one or two e-voucher(s) (depending on the purchased personal accident insurance package) and will not be able to exchange for other(s).

– For cases where program participants have committed frauds that the organizers have discovered, or have committed unlawful profiteering or compromised the reputation of Timo, the Organizing Committee will cancel the opportunity. The e-gift voucher will not be issued to the offender without prior notice.

– In case of disputes related to this promotion program, the Organizing Committee is responsible to resolve this directly with the disputer. If there is no mutual agreement, this issue will be dealt with in accordance with the current laws of Vietnam.
